Who we are

Shuhub is a discovery platform for Arab products: every day we feature new launches built by makers across the Arab world, and the community votes for them with sparks. The platform is operated from Jordan.

What we collect

Account data: when you sign in with Google or an email login link, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture if you have one.

Content you create: the products you submit, your comments, and your sparks (votes).

Newsletter email: your email address if you subscribe to the Shuhub Letter.

Basic technical data: IP address and browser type, as part of ordinary server logs.

How we use it

We use this data to run the platform: showing and ranking launches, choosing the Meteor of the Day, sending the newsletter you subscribed to, and moderating content to prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run Shuhub: hosting (Vercel), database (MongoDB Atlas), sign-in (Google), image storage, and email delivery.

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: your sign-in session and your language and theme preferences. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@shuhub.ai and we will action your request within 30 days.

To stop receiving the Shuhub Letter, use the unsubscribe link included in every email.

Public content

Product pages, comments, and spark counts are public by nature and visible to all visitors.

Children

Shuhub is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will announce it on the site.
